How scoring works
Listening & Reading: Raw marks (0–40 correct answers) are converted to band scores using standard IELTS conversion tables. Writing & Speaking: Each is assessed on four criteria scored 0–9; the module band is the average rounded to the nearest 0.5.
Overall band: The average of all four module scores, rounded to the nearest 0.5 (.25 rounds up to .5, .75 rounds up to the next whole band). Presets let you quickly explore common score profiles. Your scores are saved automatically in your browser.
